Boldon Golf Club is proud to be at the heart of the local community, welcoming golfers of all ages and abilities. We currently have over 600 active members and offer a wide range of competitions and social events throughout the year.

General Membership Information

• Membership runs 1st April – 31st March each year.
• If joining after 1st April 2025, fees will be pro-rated.
• No joining fee and no waiting list.
• A variety of flexible payment options are available (including Direct Debit over 12 months with a 5% levy).

All memberships include:
- Full use of the practice ground
- England Golf & Durham County affiliation fees
- The ability to hold and maintain an official handicap index
- Competition access (category-dependent)
- Voting rights for members aged 21+

Unlimited golf 364 days per year
Male: £875

5-Day Membership
Golf Monday–Friday £760

Twilight Membership
Golf 364 days after 2pm (Summer) / 12 noon (Winter) £555

Country Membership
For members living 30+ miles from Boldon GC.
Includes 1 round per week £420

Low Income (CASC) Membership
Access Wednesday–Saturday with free use of golf equipment (excluding shoes).
Applications must demonstrate that standard membership is not affordable.
£520 (fixed and does not increase)

Get Into Golf Membership
A beginner-friendly pathway into the club with coaching support.
Year 1 Fee: £370
Includes:
- Access to the practice area and the course
- Taster sessions arranged by PGA Pro Gary Shipley (email: garyshipley3@gmail.com)
- Guided introduction to gaining a handicap
- Eligibility for midweek competitions only
- Members may upgrade to Full / 5-Day / Twilight membership at any time.
